What We Are About

Welcome to RESC:UE's Web site. We are a self organized, run and financed community service club based out of Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks California. Our aim is to teach and enlighten fellow students, faculty members, local grade and middle school students and the general community about climate change, energy conservation and renewable energy (especially solar power!).
We do this by giving presentations on climate change, energy conservation, renewable energy, and solar power. After these presentations we do a hands on workshop with solar panels to teach kids how solar power actually works.
Our club also extends out to the public by presenting our activities at events like the annual GET WET festival at the Folsom Dam, the All things Solar event in Roseville, as well as other smaller community events like school fundraisers.

Our newest and most exciting achievement is the completion of our photovoltaic trailer which we will use to help educate students and other people alike, as well as provide %100 clean renewable energy for events using electronics that would traditional be powered by the grid.

Meetings are every Wednesday during lunch in H-1
